About Coatesville, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The city of Coatesville is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, approximately forty miles west of the city of Philadelphia.  Originally home to Native Americans, Coatesville grew up along the banks of the Brandywine River as a major trading post for the fur trapping industry.  The city continued to grow throughout the 19th century, becoming a prominent iron and steel building town with the establishment of Brandywine Iron Works and Nail Factory in 1810, the frontrunner to present day Lukens Steel, the oldest commissioned steel mill in operation in the U.S today.  Coatesville is currently home to approximately 1,300 residents who enjoy the rich local history and beautiful seasonal climate that brings hot summers, cold winters, and lovely mild weather during autumn and spring to the area.

Coatesville boasts a number of historic building and structures, many of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  One of the oldest and most historic is Brandywine Mansion, which dates back to the mid-1700s and is part of the vast Lukens National Historic District.  Other historic structures of note include the Clock Tower Building, Graystone Mansion, Terracina, and the circa 1865 Coatesville Train Station.

Coatesville is served by the Coatesville Area School District, as well as a number of area private schools, and Lincoln University, a nationally acclaimed educational institution with a core curriculum in the liberal arts and sciences.  The city is home to several community parks, as well, and is the host of numerous community festivals and special events throughout the year.

For permanent residents, as well as those just passing through, there is much to see and do in the city of Coatesville!
