Glen Mills is a suburban community located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, approximately 25 miles west of Philadelphia and 15 miles north of Wilmington, Delaware. Festivals and special events hosted by the community include the Glen Mills Fall Harvest Festival, held each October at the Newlin Grist Mill, a historic site and environmental center that features historic buildings, environmental education programs, and over eight miles of hiking trails within a 160-acre parklike setting. The mill is also home to Rock the Mill, a popular music festival held each July that showcases the talent of new, emerging, and established local bands, with proceeds going to the restoration and preservation of the historic mill.
