Kennett Square is a borough located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, approximately thirty-five miles west of Philadelphia.  Originally inhabited by members of the Lenape Indian tribe, Kennett Square was the site of General Sir William Howe’s march to the Battle of Brandywine during the Revolutionary War and played an important role in the Underground Railroad, aiding slaves in escaping to freedom in the North.  Present day Kennett Square is home to a population of more than 5,000 residents, who enjoy the rich history and beautiful seasonal weather associated with the area.
