London Grove is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, approximately 45 miles west of Philadelphia and 20 miles northwest of Wilmington, Delaware.

The township is home to more than 8,000 residents and over 500 businesses based largely in agriculture, education, and healthcare. London Grove is served by the Avon Grove School District and is located within 20 miles of several colleges and universities that include West Chester University of Pennsylvania and the University of Delaware.

London Grove’s rotating seasonal climate produces excellent weather for enjoying the year-round opportunities for outdoor sports and recreation that dominate the region. The township is located within 15 miles of Brandywine Creek State Park, a 933-acre park that is a popular destination for hiking, biking, fishing, camping, and canoeing in summer, and sledding and cross-country skiing in winter.

London Grove is home to Goddard Park, a 125-acre recreational park that features a playground, community gardens, 2 dog parks, and more than three miles of trails suitable for hiking and biking. Golfers can hit the links at Inniscrone Golf Club, a private upscale golf club that features ample practice facilities, a magnificent clubhouse, and a unique and challenging layout that sets it apart from other golf courses in the area.

London Grove celebrates a number of festivals and special events each year, including Creek Fest, an annual celebration dedicated to the preservation of White Clay Creek, a federally designated Wild & Scenic River that runs along the western boundary of the township. Held each May at White Clay Creek State Park, the festival features live music and entertainment, children’s activities, environmental exhibits, and a supervised hiked sponsored by the Wilmington Trails Club.

The township is also home to the Laurels at Landhope Combined Driving Event, a prestigious international equestrian competition held each September that features accomplished drivers from Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. in a series of equestrian driving events featuring single horses and ponies, pairs, and four-in-hands.
