Valley Forge National Historical Park is located less than 10 miles east of the borough. Situated on the site of the Continental Army’s 1777-78 encampment at Valley Forge, the park features more than 26 miles of hiking and biking trails and is home to historic structures, monuments, a museum, and interactive programs and activities that explore the history of Valley Forge.
Phoenixville is known for its fabulous festivals and special events. The borough celebrates more than 20 major events each year that include the Phoenixville Firebird Festival, Phoenixville Blues Festival, and Phoenixville Food Truck Festival, a local favorite held each May and October that features live entertainment, arts and crafts, games, contests, and more than 30 food trucks representing eateries from across the region.
